daily reminder that the boy you’re in love with at 16 probably won’t matter when you’re 25.
daily reminder that the math test you failed your freshman year of high school probably won’t matter when you’re graduating college.
daily reminder that the problems you’re facing today may seem like the worlds end, but they will not matter in a year.
daily reminder that you’re going to be okay.
everything is going to be okay.
#when we are 25#when we graduate#in a year#ok but this makes me so angry#because obs the problems one might face might ACTUALLY MATTER IN ANY KIND OF SENSE#like failing a math’s test could decide on wether or not you can stay in that specific school#how that boy acts towards you CAN determine how you feel about yourself and relationships#other problems people might face could be a symptom of a serious illness of one self or a closed one#and last but not least: stop to fucking tell people their problems don’t actually matter and that how they feel about them thus really is no#we don’t live we live now and the pain we experience is now AND MATTERS
i am moving to britain TOMORROW
i remember even just a year ago, i’d see pictures all the time of people with captions saying “i’m ugly” and stuff like that
but now, just about every day on my dash, it’s gotten to be like a thing where people will say “my hair looked super cute today” or “i’ve been feeling so body positive lately”
how awesome is that
